Joana Gil-Rico is a Catalan director, editor, programmer and musician currently residing in Edinburgh where she has made short films, music videos and commercials like ‘Day Again’ and the upcoming ‘Teeth’ for SIN/RED. She has also directed a piece for the film ‘Cloud Atlas’ and collaborated on various internationally acclaimed shorts in multiple capacities such as ‘Cargols!’ and ‘FLOW: A period drama’. Joana is an active member of the genre community as a programmer at Lund Fantastic (in the Méliès Federation) and BBC Introducing… recently featured her track ERASER. She is currently developing her debut feature film ‘Ravage’.
